Stylist Training Program

The Dearinger training program for Tinter is similar in concept to that of the Stylist program.

Section One A:
A work week varring four-five days, with the option of having four to six hours of class. The curriculum focuses on scalp massage and shampoo techniques, blow drying and finishing skills, customer service and people skills, personal presention, and art and fashion.

Section One B:
A work week varring four-five days, with the option of having four to six hours of class. The curriculum focuses on classic techniques.

Section Two:
As part of your 40-hour work week, you will be in class and/or working on model clients for approximately 20 hours. This curriculum gives you the opportunity to practice what you have learned in Section 1. You will also work on more contemporary techniques and advanced/creative techniques.

Section Three:
This phase is dedicated to full-time training. You will work accompanied by an instructor and will spend your entire 40-hour work week with models. Your instructor assesses your progress before testing and going onto the floor.

What’s Next?
Team prices for haircuts range from $43 to $95, depending on seniority and client retention. Chemical services range from $49 to $150.

During your training and assisting, your compensation will be as follows:

  • Hourly Wage including overtime hours
  • Tips from clients, models and other staff members
  • Retail commissions and bonuses

During training, you are also building your client base, since many of your models will become your regular clients.
